Rick Huckstepp has been involved in the fishing and boating industry for over two decades. He has fished extensively around and throughout Australia, in fresh and saltwater with lures, bait and fly for all manner of species as well as extensive fishing in the islands of the South Pacific.

He ran a full time guiding operation in the Northern Territory from 1986 to the early nineties and since that time till now has been writing for many Australian and overseas fishing and boating publications.

Rick travels the national boat and tackle show circuit promoting the use of fish finders and gps as an aid to successful fishing.
